At the Law Offices of Robert Tsigler, Jared Flanery is a key member of the firm’s immigration team, where he handles matters including removal defense, as well as applications before USCIS, the Department of State, ICE, and CBP.

As a native of Kentucky, Mr. Flanery began his career working with immigrants in the agricultural and horse racing industries. Before joining the Law Offices of Robert Tsigler, he practiced immigration and child welfare law with the Rutgers Child Advocacy Clinic in Newark, New Jersey. In this role, he gained extensive experience advocating for immigrant youth and children who were unable to advocate on their own behalf.

Mr. Flanery earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he trained with both the Advanced Asylum and Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic and the Farmworker Legal Assistance Clinic. He holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Kentucky, along with an M.A. and MSc in International and World History from Columbia University and the London School of Economics.

Mr. Flanery is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and is authorized to handle federal immigration matters.
